Welcome to Campbell, California's Rescue 25 Restoration Project for its' retired paramedic vehicle in recognition of Northern California's first paramedic program.

The project is being co-sponsored by the City of Campbell and former City of Campbell and Santa Clara County firefighter/paramedics and employees referred to as Friends of Rescue 25 (Friends). We have met our fundraising goal and are entering stage two, the actual restoration of the vehicle to its original service condition. Rescue 25 will remain the property of the City of Campbell assigned to the Campbell Historical Museum collection. It will be used for educational programs and for civic events. How to Be Part of the Rescue 25 Project

On September 15, 2009 the Campbell City Council approved the Rescue 25 Restoration Project that will permit the restoration of rescue vehicle that was used for the first paramedic program in northern California. The project, in-part, will be administered by the Friends of Rescue 25 a group of former City of Campbell and Santa Clara County firefighter/paramedics and employees that will focus on fundraising and historical detail for the truck's reconstruction. The cost of the project is estimated to be $20,000 and will take about one year to complete. Once restored, the vehicle will remain as a collection piece with the Campbell Historical Museum and will be used for educational purposes and for civic events including parades.
